Inundation Risk Assessment of Underground Space Based on Regional Drainage Model

Abstract

Extreme rainfall and high urban hardening rate have led to frequent urban inundation in recent years. Nevertheless,underground space has disadvantages against the inundation. The existing research on underground space inundation is chiefly targeted at hydrodynamic characteristics of rainwater intrusion into underground space,which rarely takes the regional runoff and confluence process into consideration. In order to predict the risk of inundation in underground space under different rainfall intensities,regional drainage model is put into the calculation model of inundation in underground space. In addition,the runoff and confluence and the calculation principle of hydrological and hydraulic model in underground space is introduced in detail. Taking the tunnel as an example,this model can be used to evaluate the risk of inundation under different rainfall intensities,which can provide a basis for inundation management and emergency rescue.
