Generally, high rock slopes have the characteristics including complex geologic conditions, large area and considerable height. In order to study the slope stability of Changheba Hydropower Station, numerical calculation of the slope stability is conducted and the measured surface displacement observation, the multi-point displacement meter and the load of anchors are used in the slope analysis. Combining a variety of monitoring results of the slope, both the surface and deep deformation were analyzed to confirm the stability of the slope. From the monitoring results, the overall deformation magnitude of slope is small or moderate, and anchor load is mainly moderate relaxation and the stress and deformation have been convergent. The theory and the actual monitoring results show that the slope is stable. The results are of use and can provide reference to the other similar engineering projects.
