The main items and results of model test for Unit 5 capacity expansion in Shuikou hydropower station are introduced in detail. The test result of model test acceptance indicates that all the performance parameters of the model runner meet the requirement of the Contract. Particularly, the cavitation performance are proved to be excellent and can guarantee that the unit’s capacity be expanded to 230MW.
